Santiago, Chile – May 5, 2025 – Elecard, a leading developer and provider of video analysis and quality monitoring solutions, is proud to announce a new partnership with Grupo Z, a prominent Chilean provider of CDN and streaming services. The collaboration marks an exciting step toward introducing advanced video streaming monitoring technologies to the Latin American market. As part of the partnership, Elecard and Grupo Z are exploring potential integration and distribution of Boro, Elecard’s flagship software solution for real-time video quality monitoring of IP streams.

Designed to ensure optimal quality of video delivery across both contribution and distribution environments, Boro supports a wide range of protocols including UDP, SRT, RTP, HTTP, RTMP, HLS, and MPEG-DASH. Already trusted by industry leaders including Globecast (North America), iGameMedia (UK), Telemedia (South Africa) and many others, Boro reliably operates across all continents.

Whether monitoring output from contribution encoders in live production workflows or ensuring seamless distribution to end-users, Boro delivers real-time insights and timely alerts. Its scalable architecture and intuitive interface make it a go-to solution for broadcasters, OTT providers, and service operators aiming to maintain the highest standards of video quality.

“We’re thrilled to work with Grupo Z and see great potential in collaborating with such an innovative partner in the region,” said Gayane Muradyan, Sales and Support Team Lead for the Americas at Elecard. “This step brings us closer to the Chilean market, and we’re confident that Boro’s robust monitoring capabilities will deliver real value to Grupo Z and their clients.”

Grupo Z, known for powering some of the most demanding live and on-demand video workflows in Chile, shares Elecard’s commitment to quality, performance, and innovation.

“We are excited to explore how Elecard’s Boro solution can help ensure the highest standards of stream reliability for our clients, including ClaroVTR, Canal 13, Senado de la República, and many others”,  Christian Ávalos Mena, Chief Executive Officer at Grupo Z, said. “This partnership aligns with our vision of continuous improvement and technological leadership.”
