California-Based Elecard Devices Chooses Skyline’s DataMiner Platform to Power Elecard's video quality monitoring solution
Milpitas, CA – April 9, 2024 – Elecard, the leading developer of video compression and video quality analysis technologies, is announcing collaboration with Skyline Communications for Skyline’s DataMiner orchestration platform. The collaboration brings together Elecard's widely-used IP monitoring and probing software, Boro, and Skyline's DataMiner, renowned for its robust control and data consolidation features.
The integration incorporates the use of the Boro connector for smooth transmission of QoS & QoE probing data directly into the DataMiner management platform for further processing and visualization on Dataminer’s dashboards and LowCode APPs. Elecard's connector has been published in the DataMiner Catalog and can be downloaded free of charge.
Elecard customers will now benefit from a unified presentation of network performance data with quality metrics retrieved from the network points equipped with Elecard's monitoring probes on the contribution, after encoding and packaging sides, and throughout the delivery pipeline. The lightweight software nature of the probes allows quick and transparent integration into the network nodes for data gathering from multiple types of streams: UDP, RTP, SRT, NDI, CDI, RTMP, MPEG-DASH, HLS, and supervising quality operations across OTT, cable, and linear TV.
The media companies, network operators of all tiers, and video service providers who rely on the DataMiner platform for managing their network implementation workflows now get a definite operational advantage of the real-time in-depth monitoring of the transport and video layers provided by Elecard's Boro.
