What’s new in Vicont 1.2

In the new Elecard Vicont version we have the following improvements:

• Full support of Android players whose features are now the same as that of Linux Ubuntu players.
• Added support of the following protocols:
  • SRT (Ubuntu and Android)
  • HLS (Android)
  • MPEG-DASH (Android)
• Using schedules as a main tool for creating timelines.
• Using picture files as schedule or layout blocks.
• Schedule editor for easy creation of timelines comprising video files, pictures, streams, video playlists, and layouts.
• Searching by tags for easy file navigation.
• Filtering by players and files.
• WYSIWYG layout editor for easy layout creation with many available widgets (picture, shape, text, date and time, ticker, weather, video).
• Multilayer schedules providing switchover to another layer in case of no signal problem.
• Logging user actions for better control.
