Dzerzhinsk TV company covers the main news and events in the city of Dzerzhinsk and Nizhny Novgorod region. It has its own 24-hour broadcasting.
CUSTOMER'S TASK
1. Encoding of HD-SDI (Full HD) and SD-SDI (SD) streams into AVC for distribution to cable providers and into RTMP to stream to Yandex TV. Full system redundancy is required.
2. Monitoring to adjust broadcast parameters and control video quality.
ELECARD SOLUTION
Implementation of a transcoding system based on Elecard CodecWorks at the head-end. Installation of Elecard Boro probe to monitor quality of the streams at the output.

SOLUTION IMPLEMENTATION
Deployment and setting up of Elecard CodecWorks that encodes and forms 8 UDP streams for distribution to 4 cable providers and 1 RTMP feed for streaming to Yandex TV. System capacity is sufficient to add more channels of needed. The Boro probe is installed on a stand-alone PC to monitor all streams.
